Trelleborg has recorded a 2% rise in net sales for Q2 2014, although organic sales declined by 1%.
The company’s operating profit rose 11%, excluding the participation in TrelleborgVibracoustic and items affecting comparability. This was equivalent to an operating margin of 14%, which is the group’s highest ever for a single quarter.
Operating profit in the quarter for TrelleborgVibracoustic, excluding items affecting comparability, rose 26%. This corresponded to an operating margin of 8.9 %, the highest to date for the company for a single quarter.
Looking to Q3 2014, Trelleborg expects demand to be on a par with Q2 2014, adjusted for seasonal variations.
