Dominion Cove Point LNG L.P. has filed monthly status and progress report to the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for January 2016.
In the report, Dominion Cove Point LNG said that construction of its liquefaction project in Lusby, Maryland, US, is 24% complete. Engineering on the project is 97% complete and procurement is 89% complete.
Construction activities throughout the January period included continued mobilisation, site work, foundation work and piping fabrication. However, Dominion Cove Point LNG notes that construction activities were slowed by a major snow storm that occurred during 22 – 24 January 2016.
