JERA and PetroChina sign MOU

JERA and PetroChina International have concluded an MOU on cooperation in the LNG business.

 

Gunvor remains largest trader of LNG

By the end of 2019 Gunvor will have delivered 45% more LNG than it did in 2018, maintaining a hold on its ‘largest independent LNG trader’ status.

 

Algerian Skida LNG unit shut down for maintenance

According to Reuters, Algerian state energy company Sonatrach has announced that it has shut down its main LNG unit at the Skida plant for a two-month maintenance period.

 

LNG project in the Philippines put on hold

According to Reuters, plans to construct a US$2 billion LNG project in the Philippines have been put on hold by backers CNOOC Gas and Power and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc.

 

ABS-classed LNG carrier delivered

ABS has announced that the Saga Dawn – the world’s first LNG carrier to be fitted with an innovative cargo containment system based on IMO requirements for independent Type A tanks – has been delivered to Saga LNG Shipping.
