CH2M HILL wins Alaska LNG contract

CH2M HILL Engineers Inc. has been awarded a contract for the Alaska LNG project. The company will provide certain pre-FEED support services for the LNG marine facilities in the Nikiski area on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska.
The Alaska LNG project is being progressed by the state-supported Alaska Gasline Development Corp., and affiliates of BP, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil and TransCanada. The LNG project will include the Nikiski area export facilities, an 800 mile gas pipeline from the North Slope, a gas treatment plant and transmission lines connecting the LNG project to gas producing fields.
