15 LNG cargo tender awarded by Argentina for delivery in April to May 2016

According to Reuters, Argentina has awarded a tender to purchase 15 cargoes of LNG for delivery in April to May 2016. Reuters reports that, according to trade sources, it has picked suppliers including BP, Gazprom, Statoil and Trafigura.

Out of the 15 LNG cargoes that have been sought for delivery, eight will be delivered to the Escobar terminal, which is located in Argentina on the ParanĂ¡ River. Meanwhile, the remaining seven cargoes will be delivered to Bahia Blanca.

Reuters claims that that the identity of the other suppliers cannot be confirmed at present.
