Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) has announced that it has been awarded a two-year hub agency contract for the Asia-Pacific with Cheniere Energy.
Under the contract, ISS will manage approximately 100 port calls per year for Cheniere across the region. The first port call has already been successfully completed in China.
ISS will help facilitate LNG deliveries arranged by Cheniere Marketing (a subsidiary of Cheniere Energy). Cheniere Marketing has sold a portion of the production from Cheniere Energy’s LNG export terminals, which are currently under development along the Gulf of Mexico.
Tim Whitmore, Liquid and Gas Specialist at ISS, said: “We’re delighted to be working in the Asia-Pacific with our new client Cheniere. Along with quality hub agency, our operational processes, innovative technology platforms such as YourISS2 and focus on customer requirements helped secure this significant new contract.”
