GTT has announced an order for three large LNG carriers, which will be built by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME).

The LNG carriers are expected to be delivered throughout 2018 and will be built with NO 96 GW technology, which allows an optimised boil-off rate of cargo LNG.

Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and CEO of GTT, said: "DSME and Teekay are two long-term partners. We are delighted to see that these companies have chosen, once again, membrane containment solutions for new buildings".
