Inpex eyeing Australia expansion

According to the latest Reuters report, Japan’s Inpex Corp. is looking to expand its presence in Australia, as part of a plan to establish itself as a major gas company in the region.
The plan reportedly includes expansion at the company’s existing Ichthys LNG plant and potential acquisitions.
Inpex’s President Director Australia, Hitoshi Okawa, told Reuters: “In Australia our focus is on fully utilising our Ichthys LNG facilities while creating a solid base for future expansion.”
