Evacuation at Atlanta LNG triggered by fire

According to multiple reports, Atlantic's gas processing facility in Point Fortin was evacuated on 12 September, following a fire at one of its power generation units.
The situation was brought under control and employees have since returned to work.
Atlantic stated that the fire was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries. Technical teams conducted checks of the facility and the company was in the process of advising relevant stakeholders.
Point Fortin Mayor Abdon Mason stated that he was pleased with the company's response.
Last month, there was an evacuation at the facility following a leak at one of its liquefaction units.
