ABS Group will assist Golar LNG with implementing the Maximo computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to support its asset management program. ABS will provide a model for asset data, criticality rankings, spare parts analysis, a risk-based inspection strategy, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and a maintenance program for the first GoFLNG facility under construction, the Hilli, which will operate off the coast of Cameroon, as well as for future vessels.
ABS Group CEO, Todd Grove, said: “This is an important project for ABS Group and GenesisSolutions to support our clients in the growing FLNG market […] To maximise the value to our client, GenesisSolutions will collaborate closely with our Offshore Services team throughout development of this maintenance strategy, building on their technical knowledge and experience in providing related robust offshore asset management solutions.”
Rob MacArthur, ABS Group Senior Vice President, Offshore, said: “We are pleased to work closely with Golar LNG to develop an intelligent maintenance strategy based on safety, risk and reliability for the company’s next-generation FLNG fleet […] During the past 20 years, ABS Group has developed and documented a proven way to implement asset management programs using Maximo and other intelligent systems that help drive asset uptime and productivity while simultaneously reducing OPEX costs.”
