Worthington Industries appoints Vice President of Transportation

Worthington Industries Inc. has appointed DJ Johnson as Vice President of Transformation.
This is a newly created role that will focus on driving operations, commercial and supply chain transformation efforts across the company.
Worthington Industries’ President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mark Russell, said: "DJ's depth of experience in transformational roles in similar industries and military leadership has prepared him well for this new challenge […] He will accelerate the improvement of our capabilities, systems and processes and help us realise the synergies of recent acquisitions."
Most recently, Mr Johnson held the position of Vice President of Advanced Engineering, Continuous Improvement and Quality at steelmaker Severstal North America.
Mr Johnson spent three years at McKinsey & Company as an engagement manager, successfully leading energy and industrial sector corporations through strategy, risk management, operations and organisational transformations.
