Westport signs LNG pump agreement with Hema

According to a recent post on Westport’s ‘Fuel for Thought’ blog, the company has signed a long-term agreement with Hema Hidrolik to supply pumps for current and future heavy-duty customer applications.
The blog states that Hema will manufacture and supply LNG pumps for Westport products such as the Westport iCE PACK™ LNG Tank System.
Ibrahim Hattat of Hema said: “Hema believes in the future of the natural gas market and we are backing it up with investment in resources for manufacturing components such as Westport’s pumps,” says .
Monica Feregrino, Westport’s Senior Director, Purchasing and Supplier Development, added: “Ensuring ready supply of quality fuel pumps for our customers is key to Westport […] We are pleased to have support from our colleagues at Hema as we grow this industry.”
