Video: Smit Lamnalco assists LNG carriers
The video below shows the marine support services for berthing and unberthing of LNG carriers by Smit Lamnalco at the PNG LNG Project marine terminal in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
Smit Lamnalco’s services were delivered ahead of schedule for the start-up operation. The team safely provided towage and marine support services for LNG carriers at the project, using four 70 t bollard pull 32 m ASD tug boats.
On 6 February 2015, the ExxonMobil operated PNG LNG project successfully achieved financial completion. To date, the project has shipped a total of 65 LNG cargoes to its customers.
