Worthington Industries receives workplace accreditation
LNG storage manufacturer, Worthington Industries, announced that it has received HealthLead™ Workplace reaccreditation by US Healthiest.
Through a two-step accreditation process, including an online assessment and site visit, Worthington was elevated to Silver status, an improvement from Bronze in 2011.
HealthLead's Silver level accreditation represents an integrated and comprehensive approach to employee health and wellbeing, while demonstrating positive outcomes that impact the company's bottom line.
Worthington was recognised for its employee wellness champions, a new pharmacy app and healthier vending machine choices in all of its facilities.
Commenting on the award, Chairman and CEO, John McConnell, said: "We are very proud to achieve HealthLead accreditation for the second time. Making health and wellness resources readily available to our employees and their families is a top priority, and the improvement from Bronze to Silver status, is a great recognition of those efforts."
