InterOil focus remains on Elk-Antelope LNG
At the company’s annual meeting with shareholders, InterOil Corp. noted that its focus remains on progressing the Elk-Antelope LNG project in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

According to the presentation, the Elk-Antelope project is on track, with concept select expected by the middle of the year. InterOil reported positive results from a recent appraisal of the gas field, with potential upside implications for volumes. This latest gas discovery further underpins a multi-train LNG development at the project site in PNG.
Management changes
A management change was also announced at the shareholder meeting. Saxon Palmer has been appointed Senior VP, Exploration, following the transition of Laurie Brown to an advisory role.
Palmer is a former executive with BP and BHP Billiton, with over 25 years of international oil and gas experience. At BP, he was involved in the discovery and appraisal of the Hides and Kutubu fields in PNG.
