LNG Industry,
Following on from last year’s conference, StocExpo Europe 2018 will return to Ahoy, Rotterdam, the Netherlands on 20 – 22 March 2018.
Over 200 manufacturers and suppliers are attending the event, and there will be opportunities to see the latest equipment and technologies during the course of the three days.
The event, which is open to all oil and gas professionals within the downstream sector, will provide business opportunities including networking and knowledge sharing prospects. In addition, the event will provide an opportunity to meet and connect with industry experts, peers and leading companies within the sector – the official networking drinks will be held on 20 March from 5pm.
The exhibition and conference will bring together terminals, traders, oil majors, analysts and experts from around the world. The programme includes speakers from companies such as KPMG, VTTI, Odfjell, Shell, Votob, JP Morgan and Oiltanking. The event will also provide roundtable sessions and panel debates enabling knowledge sharing sessions with multiple speakers and industry professionals.
A key theme of the conference will be identifying solutions for productivity, minimising costs and keeping up with the latest trends in industry. Other key topics include investment opportunities, digitisation and the internet of things, process safety fundamentals, terminal updates impacting trade flows and storage markets in Europe.
Nick Powell, StocExpo and Tank Storage Portfolio Divisional Director, commented: “StocExpo Europe is the largest event of its kind, and also perfectly placed in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp region, the world’s largest oil trading hub. In the last few years, we have seen a 25% increase in the region’s storage capacity, reinforcing the strategic importance to the international market. The expanded floorplan at the show will also accommodate for new features such as the Engineers of the Future programme and Sustainability and Innovation zones which offer visitors a firsthand look at some of the industry’s most sought after products.”
