Luigi Zingales resigns from Eni Board

Eni has announced that Professor Luigi Zingales has resigned from the company’s Board of Directors. Professor Zingales was an Independent Director and a member of both the Control and Risk committee and the Nomination committee.
In a letter announcing his resignation, Professor Zingales attributed the decision to “irreconcilable differences of opinion on the role of the Board of Directors in the management of the company.”
Eni’s Board has thanked Professor Luigi Zingales for his active contribution to the Board.
