Yamal LNG reaches 10 million t milestone

Reuters is reporting that since it began production in December 2017, Russia’s Yamal LNG project has shipped 10 million t of LNG.

The milestone was reportedly reached as the facility was offloading cargo number 136 on to the Vladimir Vize, Arc7 ice-class tanker.

At present Yamal LNG’s capacity is 16.5 million tpy and there are plans in place for a future expansion to 17.4 million tpy.
