Elengy, Novatek agree transshipment contract
Elengy and Novatek Gas & Power have signed a long-term contract to provide transshipment services at the Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal.
Novatek Gas & Power will be able to transfer LNG cargoes from the Yamal LNG plant, in Western Siberia to Elengy’s vessel. Elengy has already performed four transshipments between standard vessels since 2013 at the Montoir-de-Bretagne terminal.
The terminal will be adapted in order to provide these services safely during the entire period of the contract. In particular, the transfer rate will be improved.
Future LNG production of Yamal project is expected from 2017.
