Congressman welcomes FERC Cameron LNG move
Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr. (R-South Louisiana) issued the following statement after the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) released its final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in favor of the Cameron LNG export facility:
"During this time of prosperous domestic energy production, South Louisiana has yet again established itself as the central hub of LNG activity. Today's announcement from FERC signals the critical passage of a key step for the Cameron LNG export facility.
“As the domestic energy revolution continues, stories like this will serve as testament to stakeholders at home and abroad, South Louisiana is fast-becoming the LNG capital of the world."
