FERC to prepare EIS for Fourchon LNG project

FERC has issued a notice of its intent to prepare an environmental impact statement for the Fourchon LNG Project in Lafourche Parish, La.
Fourchon LNG intends to use the terminal to liquefy, store, and deliver LNG to domestic LNG-fueled marine vessels and LNG carriers for export to overseas markets.
The terminal has a proposed peak capacity of five million tpy of LNG.
