M&I Electric wins LNG project contract

American Electric Technologies Inc. (AETI) has announced that its M&I Electric business has received a contract to provide a turnkey power delivery solution for a new LNG liquefaction terminal under construction.
The LNG terminal will provide critical fuel supplies during high-demand periods in New England, US.
AETI reports that a leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company awarded this contract to M&I Electric. The turnkey solution will include custom-designed low and medium voltage power distribution switchgear and low and medium voltage motor control centres, all deployed within custom-built, climate-controlled Power Distribution Centers (PDCs).
