Japan to invest US$10 billion in LNG

Japan’s industry minister has announced that Japan, along with its private sector firms, will invest US$10 billion in global LNG projects.

 

PNG presses Exxon for better terms on gas project

According to Reuters, the petroleum minister of Papua New Guinea has said that the country will press Exxon Mobil Corp. for “far better” terms on its P’nyang gas project than the government agreed to with Total SA for its Papua LNG project.

 

NOVATEK, MOL and JBIC sign cooperation agreement

PAO NOVATEK has signed a cooperation agreement with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. and Japan Bank for International Cooperation regarding the construction of marine LNG transhipment complexes.
