The AltaGas-led Douglas Channel LNG Consortium has halted development of its proposed small scale floating LNG project in Canada.

The Center of Liquefied Natural Gas has welcomed the first LNG exports from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass liquefaction project.

Jera Co. is currently holding discussions with Korea Gas Corp. and China National Offshore Oil Corp. regarding an alliance that would offer more flexible LNG contracts.

Cheniere Energy expects to export between eight and 10 cargoes of LNG from the Sabine Pass project within the next two months.

Bechtel has announced that the first LNG commissioning cargo has been exported from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility in Louisiana, US.
