According to the latest Reuters report, Total will take a final investment decision (FID) on a Nigerian LNG project by the end of the year.
Total’s head of production, Arnaud Breuillac, said that through the proposed expansion, seven million tpy of LNG production capacity would be added to an existing 22 million tpy facility.
If the project receives a positive FID, first LNG would reportedly be expected by 2023.
