S-Oil signs LNG contract with Petronas

Reuters are reporting that South Korea’s third-largest refiner S-Oil Corp has signed a long-term LNG supply contract with Malaysia’s Petronas for 15 years starting in 2018.
S-Oil expects to buy 700 000 tpy of LNG from March 2018 through March 2033. The LNG will be used for its fuel and feed stock.
“We have inked the deal on good terms for our company amid the current favaourable LNG market conditions,” said the refiner.
