Shell and Gazprom discuss Sakhalin II expansion

Gazprom and Shell have discussed strategic cooperation issues, including LNG production and geological exploration, production, hydrocarbon processing and marketing of the Russian and international petroleum markets.
The topics were discussed during a working meeting between the Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Alexey Miller, and the Chief Executive Officer of Shell, Ben van Beurden, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2014.
Gazprom report that special attention was paid to a possible expansion of the cooperation as part of the Sakhalin II project buildup.
