Freeport LNG files to bring Train 1 online

Freeport LNG has requested authority from the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to place its first train into service.
The letter requesting authorisation from the FERC to place Train 1 and the common facilities at the company’s liquefaction and export terminal on Quintana Island, Texas, was filed on 19 November.
With the instant filing, Freeport LNG has filed all documentation required by commission staff and the orders to demonstrate readiness for Train 1 and the common facilities to be placed into service. With regards to this, Freeport LNG has requested that authorisation be granted as soon as possible.
