LNG Industry,
According to Reuters, Russia’s Sakhalin Energy has shut one of its two LNG trains after an equipment malfunction.
A company spokeswoman told Reuters that the train was shut down on 17 May and that assessment and technical maintenance is underway.
Although there has been no comment from Sakhalin regarding when the train will restart, Reuters sources expect the reportedly ‘minor’ issue will be corrected, and the train restarted, in the first half of June.
