Mozambique LNG to receive US$200 million from Anadarko

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation has announced its 2019 capital expectations and guidance. This latest release contains an update regarding funding for the Mozambique LNG project.
Anadarko is reportedly allocating approximately US$200 million to the Mozambique LNG project, pre-FID (final investment decision), to cover its portion of the costs associated with the ongoing site preparation for the shared onshore facilities.
The company remains on track for FID consideration in 1H19, and anticipates adjusting its capital-investment expectations associated with the Mozambique LNG project at the time of project sanction.
