OAO Novatek has announced that it has extended its natural gas supply contract with NLMK Group to 2025.
Under the agreement, 2.8 billion m3/yr of natural gas will be supplied, which fully covers all of the natural gas supply needs of NLMK Group’s Russian entities.
In July 2016, Novatek announced that its wholly owned trading subsidiary – Novatek Gas & Power – had successfully shipped its first ever LNG cargo. The cargo was sourced from the Trinidad and Tobago LNG facility and shipped to port Quintero, Chile.
