Evergas holds name-giving ceremony for new carrier

The JS INEOS INNOVATION is the company’s fifth dragon class 27 500 m3 multigas LNG carrier in a series of eight. It is 180.3 m long and has a summer draught of 9.4 m.
It features a distinct dragon to symbolise its Chinese and Western heritage. The dragon chosen to sail and protect the vessel is the King of the Moon, which Evergas claims reflects the bringing of the light from a crescent moon.
The ceremony took place at Pilot station, Philadelphia, US.
