Kentz wins contract for Qatargas LNG plant

Qatargas Operating Company Ltd has awarded Kentz Corp. Ltd the turnkey process package of a new wastewater facility located in the Qatargas LNG plant, Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar.
The scope of work is to supply process Engineering, Procurement, Installation, Construction and Commissioning (EPICC) services to deliver wastewater recycling and reduction facilities to four LNG trains.
The contract is valued at approximately US$ 125 million. The work will be performed and executed through Kentz’s Engineering and Projects (E&P) Business Unit.
At peak workforce, Kentz will employ approximately 440 staff and field personnel, with project completion scheduled in 2016.
