NYK and Mitsui conclude contract for LNG carrier
NYK and Mitsui & Co. have concluded a time-charter contract for a new LNG carrier for the Cameron LNG project.
On September 26, NYK concluded a time-charter contract with Mitsui & Co. Ltd. for a new LNG carrier for the Cameron LNG project in Louisiana.
The ship will be delivered in 2018 and assigned to transport LNG from the project for a maximum of 25 years. Tea Tree Shipping Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of NYK, will own the new vessel, while an NYK Group company will be responsible for ship management.
