Reuters is reporting that the Russian investment group A-Property has hired TechnipFMC to assist with a new LNG plant from which exports could be made from Russia to Asia.
An A-Property spokeswoman has told Reuters that the facility and accompanying infrastructure will be located in the northern republic of Yakutia. It has been estimated that the project will cost approximately US$10 billion and will have a maximum production capacity of 13 million tpy.
TechnipFMC has been hired to complete the project’s design phase, which is targeting the end of 2020 for completion. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by 2025.
