SCT&E LNG has retained the boutique law firm, Weed & Co., for assistance with a US$ 40 million dollar Private Offering.
SCT&E LNG is in the early development stages of a LNG export facility on Monkey Island in southwest Louisiana.
The LNG project is currently modelled as an LNG Tolling Facility utilising cryogenic technologies to liquefy natural gas for global export.
SCT&E LNG estimates that US$ 40 million will move the company through the initial entitlement process, specifically focusing on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (FERC) authorisation of the siting and eventual construction of the Monkey Island LNG export facility.
SCT&E LNG believes that after the FERC application is submitted, the value of its LNG project will increase dramatically. Earlier this year, the company submitted two requests for export authorisation to the Department of Energy (DOE).
SCT&E LNG expects the US government to approve its application to export LNG to nations with Free Trade Agreement's soon.
