LNG Industry,

Decmil Group has been awarded an extension to its QCLNG Upstream Project – Wellsite Installation Services contract, for QGC Pty Ltd.

The contract, estimated to be worth approximately US$65 million in 2015, is an extension of the existing framework contract with QGC, and has been awarded to the Group’s subsidiary, Eastcoast Development Engineering Pty Ltd (EDE).

The extension will see Decmil move from project phase to operational phase. Decmil will support QGC with wellhead construction, logistics, material management and a range of construction services.

Scott Criddle, Decmil CEO and Managing Director, commented: “This extension confirms the strong relationship we have with QGC and further demonstrates our ability to deliver projects to the upstream CSG industry.

“Decmil now has an established mechanical capability and we look forward to expanding our presence in the operational phase of upstream CSG, including in maintenance and other related services.”
