Gulf LNG submits progress report to FERC

Gulf LNG Liquefaction Company and its affiliates have submitted a report to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) outlining pre-filing environmental review activities carried out in August for its proposed LNG export terminal at Pascagoula, Mississippi.

According to the report, biological/wetland and cultural surveys were completed during August, as well as geotechnical investigations at the terminal and offsite locations.

The full report can be accessed via the FERC eLibrary under Docket No. PF13-4.

Gulf LNG added that next month’s activities would include:

  • The gathering of information necessary for the preparation of remaining draft resource reports.
  • The collection of information on potential project mitigation site.
  • The updating of Resources Reports 1 and 10, based on FERC comments.
