King & Spalding shortlisted for energy award
Law firm King & Spalding has been shortlisted for Petroleum Economist’s ‘Energy Advisory Firm of the Year’ award. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 10 September.
King & Spalding was selected for the shortlist based on its demonstration of work in 2013 that helped energy clients advance a range of successful projects and provided innovative approaches to tackling their business challenges.
LNG leadership
The firm’s award entry focused on its leadership in LNG project development in Africa, its work helping clients advance projects despite challenging financial environments, its pioneering work in structuring LNG tolling agreements, and its active role in the evolving North American LNG liquefaction market.
According to Petroleum Economist, its awards aim to “celebrate the people, companies and projects which showcase the best of the industry.” An independent panel of industry experts will judge the awards.
