Silk Road Fund (SRF) has acquired a 9.9% stake in the Yamal LNG project from Novatek.

Wood Mackenzie has predicted that if there are no postponements, the market could see an additional 100 million tpy of LNG sanctioned in the next 6 - 18 months.

The acquisition includes Giovenco’s 50% stake in a joint venture for a multi-million dollar contract for painting, insulation, and fireproofing on Chevron’s Wheatsone LNG plant.
