Barakah Offshore awarded PFLNG contract

Barakah Offshore Petroleum Berhad has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, PBJV Group Sdn Bhd, has received a subcontract agreement from Petronas Floating LNG 1 (PFLNG) for FLNG offshore works.
Under the contract, valued at approximately RM19.1 million, PBJV Group will provide engineering, procurement, installation and related activities for FLNG offshore works, PFLNG post-installation activities and on-board book-up, as well as commissioning and start-up activities. The contract will run from December 2015 to October 2016.
The FLNG plant will gather gas production from several gas fields offshore Malaysia. Upon completion, the FLNG plant will have a rated capacity of 1.2 million tpy.
