BP, Sinopec form bunkering joint venture
BP and Sinopec Fuel Oil have formed a marine fuels bunkering joint venture (JV), BP Sinopec Marine Fuels Pte Ltd.
The JV will be based in Singapore, and will build out from its partners’ existing bunkering locations and activities. In addition to marine bunkering in Singapore, the JV will provide marine bunker sales in a number of global locations.
The ports served by the BP/Sinopec JV will be Singapore; Fujairah, UAE; Antwerp, Belgium; Rotterdam and Amsterdam, the Netherlands; Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo and Shenzhen, China.
