LNG Industry,
According to the latest Reuters report, Gunvor’s Clearlake Shipping has chartered the Höegh Gallant from Höegh LNG. The vessel will serve Clearlake as an LNG carrier.
The Höegh Gallant is by design a floating regasification and storage unit (FSRU), however it can also serve as a standard LNG carrier. As a carrier, the vessel has a capacity of 170 000 m3.
The Höegh Gallant recently departed the Suez Canal after its contract in Egypt ended. It is now heading for Sabine Pass LNG export terminal in Louisiana. It is set to arrive on 6 November.
