Reganosa has announced that its LNG terminal in the Port of Ferrol, Spain, has been chosen to host the next plenary session of Gas LNG Europe (GLE), the association representing European LNG terminal operators.
The assembly, which will be held in the first week of October 2016, will see representatives from 16 LNG terminals in nine countries. Many of these LNG terminals are located in southern Europe, with six operating terminals in Spain.
In a statement, Reganosa said that hosting the plenary session will represent an opportunity for the terminal to present its activity and its development potential, linked to the promotion of LNG as a marine fuel.
The partners at the meeting are due to discuss strategies to promote LNG and its future as a fuel. They will also seek to establish common positions to promote the use of LNG to the EU institutions.
A visit to Reganosa’s LNG facilities will be included in the assembly.
