Suretank has announced it has introduced a new natural gas compressor enclosure to the company’s portfolio.

The natural gas compressor enclosure (Class 1, Division 1) has been designed for NAT-G CNG Solutions. It will be used to fill and provide power to solid waste collection trucks with the same fuel that the deleterious material in the landfill produces.

Dennis Foose, Senior Vice President at NAT-G Solutions in Houston, remarked: This particular compressor could be operating in temperatures as low as -40 degrees. Therefore, considering the region has extreme weather conditions it was paramount to protect the compressor and associated technology. Suretank USA's reputation for developing specialized engineering solutions for the offshore and onshore oil and gas industry, and experience in dealing with hazardous materials, meant they were the ideal partner for the project. We are delighted with the finished unit and look forward to working with them again."

Jason Underwood, Managing Director at Suretank USA, added: "When we were approached with this project last year, I was very impressed with Nat-G's progressive ideas and technology and knew immediately that Suretank would be a perfect fit to help them create a workable solution that adds value for all. The environment in which the gas compression is performed can be extremely hazardous but Suretank USA was keen to assist and take on the design challenge. Subsequently, our team here are at Suretank produced a first rate insulated explosion proof enclosure equipped with the latest industry C1D1 heaters, exhaust fans, electrical components, and methane detectors."
