GTT has received an order from Teekay for an LNG carrier, which will be built by the South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME).
The LNG carrier will be built with the innovative NO 96 GW technology, which allows an optimised boil-off rate of cargo LNG.
GTT expects the LNG carrier to be delivered throughout 2018.
Earlier this month, GTT announced another order for an LNG carrier from Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL). This LNG carrier will also be built with the same GTT technology at DSME, with an expected delivery date of 2018.
