According to the statement, the guide is intended to be used alongside ABS’ ‘Rules for Building and Classing Steel Barges’, ‘Rules for Building and Classing Marine Vessels’ and the ‘Rules for Building and Classing Steel Vessels for Service on Rivers and Intracoastal Waterways’.
