Woodside wins AU$ 1.5 million from CFMEU

Woodside Petroleum has been awarded AU 1.5 million in compensation by a Federal Court over an illegal strike at its Pluto LNG site back in December 2009, which was actively encouraged by the Construction Forestry Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU).

 

Anadarko advances Mozambique LNG plans

Anadarko has discovered significant gas reserves in the Barquentine complex offshore Mozambique, the company plans to use the reserves as feed-gas for an LNG facility.

Israel's National Planning Council has given final approval for a plan to establish a floating LNG terminal off its Mediterranean coast.

 

InterOil and Noble sign heads of agreement on LNG sale

Chevron Corporation has signed binding Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) with Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) for the delivery of LNG from the Wheatstone natural gas project in Australia.
