Hoegh LNG wins FSRU contract in Indonesia

Hoegh LNG has signed an agreement with PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) to provide them with an FSRU and mooring system offshore Belawan, near the city of Medan, in North Sumatra, Indonesia. The project will employ the first of Höegh LNG's new building FSRUs under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries Ltd in Korea.

Bureau Veritas approves LNG-powered ultra-large containership

Bureau Veritas has given approval in principle for the basic design of a 14,000 teu containership to be powered by LNG. The design was developed in a joint industry project between Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, liner major CMA-CGM and Bureau Veritas.
