EMA launches selection process for LNG importers
The Energy Market Authority has announced the launch of Stage One of a two-stage Request for Proposal (RFP) process. This is for the selection of up to two importers of LNG for Singapore beyond the first 3 million tpa of LNG supply.
Interested parties wishing to import LNG are invited to submit proposals for this incremental LNG supply. They will be evaluated based on the competitiveness of their gas supply proposals and their ability to provide a reliable and secure gas supply to Singapore.
Proposals are to be submitted by 4pm (Singapore time) on 31 December 2014. EMA will evaluate the proposals and shortlist up to three parties to participate in Stage Two of the RFP.
